Bob Lee

Co-Owner

Bob has been with Lee Motor Co. since the very beginning, only missing out on one and a half years of the company's existence. His father started the company 90 years ago and Bob remembers spending time in each department, always trying to learn and help where he could. After attending college at Gustavus Adolphus, Bob spent nearly two years serving in the army before returning to Dawson and Lee Motors. Now, he likes to think that John and Dan let him hang out at the garage.

John Lee

Co-Owner & Sales Representative

Born and raised in Dawson, John grew up working with his younger brother, Dan, at Lee Motors alongside their grandpa and father. After attending college at Minnesota State Mankato, he returned to Dawson to start working full-time at the garage and has been for over 30 years now. In John's eyes, being a part of the family business has extended well beyond the Lee name to include their wonderful customers and hard-working team. He feels blessed to work with such amazing coworkers and customers that make him excited to go to work every day.

Dan Lee

Co-Owner & Sales Representative

Dan was born and raised in Dawson, MN. As a kid, one of Dan's fondest memories includes being around the garage working with his grandpa and dad. After graduating high school from Dawson, he went on to attend college at Minnesota State Mankato and later returned after graduating in 1987. Now, Dan and his brother, John, get to work together and continue to learn more about the business from their father.

Michael Lee

Office Manager

A 2019 graduate from Southwest Minnesota State, Mike returned home in 2022 after a few years working in Minneapolis and Sioux Falls as a CPA. The opportunity to work with and learn from his father (John), uncle (Dan) and grandfather (Bob) made it an easy decision to join the family business. Mike looks forward to providing customers the same great service they’ve come to know from Lee Motors.

Stephen Schilling

Parts & Service Manager

Stephen is a Dawson-Boyd High School graduate with seven years of military experience, instilling discipline and dedication. Now, back in his hometown, he's using military and specialized Harley Davidson and Honda powersports training to excel as the service and parts manager at Lee Motor Company. He's dedicated to maintaining the highest automotive standards and constantly seeking ways to improve our services. Join Stephen on this journey, where he brings military precision and motorcycle expertise to enhance automotive excellence in our community.

Chris Moen

Auto Technician

Chris has lived in Dawson his whole life. If you can't find Chris under the hood of a car at Lee Motors, he may be assembling an old car of his own or working around the farm. Working at Lee Motors has allowed Chris to combine his passion of working on vehicles with his joy of visiting with customers. Chris's future plans include obtaining his full mechanic certification as well as his Ford Masters.
